SPICE3 aims to boost energy efficiency across the European chemical industry, particularly in small- and medium-sized companies. Launched in April 2013, the project enables companies to benefit from existing energy efficiency tools and exchange best practice through an on-line platform, industry workshops and tailored training. Energy efficiency initiatives by chemical companies will also be recognised as part of the industry’s Responsible Care award scheme.
