Under the umbrella of the Cefic Water Matters! flagship initiative, Cefic organizes a workshop aiming to provide an in-depth understanding of the fields of application of different available tools and approaches regarding sustainable water management. Designed for corporate environmental, water and sustainability managers, participants from companies will benefit from a dynamic peer exchange on water management practices facilitated by the presentation of companies’ cases and lively, tailored table discussion.
Part of the Watter Matters! Cefic Flagship
The workshop, held at Cefic premises, forms part of continuous activities under the flagship, supporting best practice that companies implement, especially in areas where there are growing concerns on water scarcity and water quality.
In particular, the workshop aims to support companies to build their strategies for assessing and mitigating water related risks through a self-assessment tool. Developed as an Excel questionnaire by the Cefic Water Task Force in collaboration with the Responsible Care Strategy Implementation Group, the tool will be pilot-tested in Autumn 2014.
A follow-up of the workshop and main conclusions will be available later at the Cefic website.
WHEN: November 12, 2014, from 9 am until 5 pm Brussels Time
