CEPAD (Conseil Européen des Phénols Alkylés et Dérivés) has been created in the context of the risk assessment conducted on nonylphenol and in view of the fact that derivatives exist which are affected by the risk reduction measures which are consequently to be applied.

CEPAD / EBPP (European ButylPhenol Panel)  has been created in the framework of the risk assessment of 4-tert-butylphenol, which is now being developed as part of the 4th list of priority substances as foreseen under Council Regulation (EEC n° 793 / 93).

Main objectives of CEPAD is to provide a forum to represent the association and its members’ interests and to develop and promote initiatives on their behalf.
