European Water Stewardship (EWS)

European Water Stewardship (EWS)

Created by the European Water Partnership (EWP), European Water Stewardship is an integrative system to assess water management practices in different sectors. In line with the Water Vision for Europe, it defines clear steps towards sustainable water management at operational and river basin levels. The EWS standard can be used as a tool to review how sustainable the water management at production site level is. A detailed evaluation, benchmarking with other sites and certificatrion can be addressed in cooperation with EWP.
