Françoise Humbert, a French-Polish national, holds a Master’s degree in Languages and Linguistics, plus a specialisation in semantics. She has more than 15 years’ experience in communications. From 1997 to 2005 she held various communications posts at Cefic, where, among other things, she developed and launched Appe’s communications programme.
In 2006 she was appointed Head of Communications at the Association of European Airlines (AEA), where she helped build a global, cross-industry campaign on aviation and the environment. As spokesperson for AEA, she was a regular guest of BBC TV and radio; she was instrumental in creating a favourable media environment for the association’s advocacy messages.
Françoise’s passions include languages, Victorian literature, science fiction, graphic design and painting.
